How to get here

Henderson Settlement is located in the southwest corner of Bell County, Kentucky on State Hwy 190 about 22 miles west of Pineville and about 33 miles northwest of Middlesboro. The nearest commercial airports are in Lexington, KY and Knoxville, TN.

• Lexington, KY - Travel time approximately 2.5 hours

Take I-75 south to Corbin, KY (exit 29). Turn left on US Highway 25E and proceed south to Pineville.  About 2 miles south of Pineville, turn right on KY Highway 190 and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement.

• Louisville, KY - Travel time approximately 4 hours

Take I-64 east to I-75 at Lexington. Take I-75 south to Corbin, KY (exit 29). Turn left on US Highway 25E and proceed south to Pineville.  About 2 miles south of Pineville, turn right on KY Highway 190 and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement.

• Knoxville, TN - Travel time approximately 2 hours

Take I-75 north to Williamsburg, KY (Exit 11). Turn right off the exit ramp and follow KY 92 east (approximately 17 miles after the last traffic light) to KY 1595. Follow 1595 over Pine Mountain approximately 6 miles to the T-intersection. Turn left on KY 190 and continue approximately 1.5 miles to Henderson Settlement.

• Nashville, TN - Travel time approximately 4.5 hours

Take I-65 north to the Cumberland Parkway. Travel east on the Cumberland Parkway to Somerset, KY. Continue east on Hwy 80 to London, KY. Turn right (south) on I-75 to Corbin (Exit 29). Turn left and proceed south to Pineville on US Highway 25E. About 2 miles south of Pineville, turn right on KY Highway 190 and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement.

• Asheville, NC - Travel time approximately 4 hours

Take I-40 west to I-81 north. Go approx. 8 miles on I-81 to the US Hwy 25E exit at Morristown, TN. .Travel north on US 25E past Morristown and Bean Station to Tazewell, TN. Turn right at the traffic light in Tazewell, and continue on 25E through Harrogate, the Cumberland Gap tunnel, and Middlesboro, KY. Proceed north for10 miles or about 2 miles south of Pineville, turn left on KY Highway 190.(Go West) and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement

• Bristol, TN - Travel time approximately 3.5 hours

Exit I-81 (exit 74) and travel south on Hwy 11W to junction of US 25E.Follow 25E north towards Tazewell, TN & Middlesboro, KY. Turn right at the traffic light in Tazewell, and continue on 25E through Harrogate, the Cumberland Gap tunnel, and Middlesboro, KY.    Proceed north  for 10 miles or about 2 miles south of Pineville, turn left on KY Highway 190 (Go West) and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement.

• Charleston, WV - Travel time approximately 4.5 hours

Take I-64 west to US 23 near Ashland, KY. Go south on US 23 through Paintsville and Prestonburg to KY Hwy 80. Head west on Hwy 80 to the Daniel Boone Parkway, at Hazard. Continue west on the Parkway to London, KY. Take I-75 south to Corbin (Exit 29). Turn left and proceed south to Pineville on US Highway 25E.   About 2 miles south of Pineville, turn right on KY Highway 190 and follow for approximately 22 miles to Frakes/Henderson Settlement.
