Our community garden is working to make the community healthier and more food secure one season, one garden, one family at a time.
The community garden is dedicated to helping families plant a healthy future for themselves and their communities by:
- Providing them with skills and resources to grow sustainable nutritious food.
- Teaching them how to grow, prepare and preserve food in a healthy way.
- Providing soil testing, tools, plants/seeds and tillage as needed to start a garden.
- Empowering them to share their knowledge in the community and encourage others.
- Developing a local Farmers Market to sell surplus food.
