Henderson Settlement Statement of Belief
We believe the Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God, and the only source of truth without error.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, existing eternally in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures, and rose, and ascended into heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father, mediating for those of us who believe.
We believe that the Holy Spirit now indwells all who believe in Him and ask for His transforming power. It is through this power that we serve to the Glory of God the Father.
